Member of Mission Possible= Life

Rakesh Kumar has devoted over 15 years to volunteering with PSPA, a charity supporting people with rare neurological conditions. As a specialist physiotherapist and part-time PhD researcher, Rakesh skillfully balances his professional, academic, and family commitments while remaining deeply engaged in giving back to the community. He believes that even small acts of service can make a meaningful difference and that supporting others is a value to live by.
Rakesh began his journey at Bangor University in North Wales, later working closely with people affected by neurological conditions, including dementia and Alzheimer’s. His dedication to improving lives and supporting diverse communities has earned him national recognition. In 2024, he was awarded an MBE for his outstanding work with South Asian and BAME communities—a moment he describes as “surreal and unforgettable” after receiving the honor from Prince William at Windsor Castle.

Within Mission Possible, Rakesh brings the same compassion, dedication, and practical support, helping initiatives reach communities across different regions. His commitment to others and his family-inspired values make him a cornerstone of our efforts to create meaningful, positive change.
